Free to a good home: A computer!
Lui and I are leaving the country at the end of this month, and have a computer to give away.
If you know someone in need, someone setting up their first house, or you want it so you can give it to someone else, or use it as a doorstop, I don't mind! It is not coming in the plane with us. If no-one takes it, it will have to go in the bin.
Details: pIII 350mhz (something in that region), 256mb ram, 20gb hdd, wired network and modem built in, external speakers, 15" crt, cd-rw drive, keyboard, mouse) Comes either with ubuntu linux (fresh install) or totally blank, up to you. (We were using it as a second computer, and it comes with a 10m crossover network cable, which you can have too but it is only useful if you are connecting to another computer without a hub/switch. for anything like hooking up an adsl/cable modem or a LAN you will have to source your own 'normal' network cable)
No money can change hands, completely free, first come first served...
Will have a car in London on the night of Thursday 20th of March, and we will be in Derby on Saturday and Sunday at the Easter weekend.

[Link] | I've coded up a little slideshow script that will, among a few other things, let you look at any image posted on the site. There is a Random button. I'm addicted.
Props to Chalk for the idea. Added bonus: If you are skilled and can get to the end of the list (it's so hard) you can see pics that I have uploaded but aren't available on the rest of the site yet.
Please try it out and let me know what you think and if there's anything that could be improved or anything you'd like.

Addendum to last night:
I am informed that, while intoxicated last night:
I sang, opera style, for ten minutes whilst in the bathroom. To the cat.
And I was found later in the shower, unable to towel myself, thus instead waiting for the water to evaporate.
Also, I was apparently talking to my flatmate while he wasn't there.
..amongst other things.
Next time, no tequila!

[Link] | Just logging in from Sydney. It has come to my attention (Via me trying to check it) that my website is down and thus images will not be loading for a while. Well bugger. There isn't really anything I can do from here so it's time to forget about it and continue with my holiday (which is going great).
